Alain Aspect

Alain Aspect is a French Physicist who was noted because of the experimental work in the quantum entanglement. He was born in the year 1947. For his education, He graduated from Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan and he did aggregation in the physics in the year 1969 and he got the masters’ degree of University D’Orsay. Afterwards, he did the national service while teaching in Cameroon or three years.

In 1980, while he was working on his PhD thesis for the lesser academic rank of lecturer, he performed the "elusive Bell Test Experiments" and it showed that the quantum mechanics’ reductio ad absurdum of Nathan Rosen, Boris Podolsky and Albert Einstein is normally ghostly action at a certain distance, did in fact appeared to be realized when two particles were separated by an arbitrarily large distance. The correlation found between the wave functions since they were same wave-function which had not been disturbed like of child particle that has been measured. Alain Aspect got the Honorary Doctorate of Herriot-Watt University in the year 2008.

When the quantum theory had been correct, determination of an axis direction for polarization measurement for one photon and it leads the function in collapsing in the axis and it influences measurement for its twin. It is an influence that takes place even when the experimenters are not aware of the axes that had been chosen by the distant colleagues using a distance which disallow the communication between two different photons even with the speed of the light.

From his biography, Alain Aspect experimented after John Clauser and Stuart Freedman’s experiments which were considered in providing further support to thesis of Bell’s inequalities and they were violated by the CHSH version and it was by closing the form of the locality loophole.

However, the results gotten were not that conclusive because of what was called loopholes which allowed the alternative explanation which comply with the local realism. As stated and more simply, experiment offers a strong evidence for a certain quantum even using one location which can affect the event of another location and it is not the obvious mechanism for the communication between two different locations.

Alain Aspect got two awards. They are Albert Einstein medal and Wolf Prize in physics. He was included in the people who would have got the Nobel Prize of 2013. His net worth is not recorded yet. For the fundamental experiments he had in the atomic physics and quantum options, Alain Aspect became the first person who was able to exclude the subluminal communication found between the measurement station in the experimental demonstration while hidden variables theories are able to demonstrate the wave experimentally. He was able to co-invent velocity technique for the coherent population trapping and he was the first scientist who was able to do the comparison of bosons and fermions under one condition.
