Ariane Bourdain 

Ariane Bourdain was born on April 9, 2007 in New York. She is the young daughter of famous parents. Her parents are Anthony Bourdain and Ottavia Busia. She is the only child in her family. Her parents were married in the 2007 but decided to get a divorce in 2016 after nine years of a loving marriage.

Her father was very busy because his working schedule and lifestyle. Anthony was a world famous chef and travel documenter. He had many long running television programs that his audience loved watching. In his shows, he would travel all over the world to explore the food of different cultures. Unfortunately, his work required that had to be away for his wife and child for most of the year.

Ariane was raised without much interaction from her father. They would see each other whenever possible but it wasn’t at the level of a normal father and daughter relationship. It wasn’t Anthony’s choice to be away from his daughter, he had the type of job that made him absent in her life. It is similar to when a truck driver had to spend most of his days on the road except in this case, the father was a famous chef and television personality.

Anthony would bring Ariane with him on his travel whenever he got the chance. She appeared on several episodes of his flagship show called Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. She was a natural on television and did not need much work to feel comfortable on camera. Many suspect that she will have a future in television if she decides to pursue that route when she gets older.

Anthony tried to teach Ariane about a hard work ethic because he built his success after coming from nothing. After decades working in kitchens, Anthony was able to build a very successful career as a chef and TV personality. After he graduated from the Culinary Institute of America he served as a line cook in numerous New York City restaurants. He got a big break when he became the executive chef at Brasserie Les Halles.

Anthony started to carve out an identity for himself as someone who was more than just a chef. He had ideas and philosophies that connected people, culture, and food. He wrote a book called Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly which became a New York Times Bestseller. He also wrote several articles for New Yorker magazine, including Don't Eat Before Reading This.

In 2010 he published a follow up to his first book entitled Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook. He also is known for such other titles such as A Cook's Tour and The Nasty Bits. Anthony’s books allowed him to pick up some steam outside of the food industry. People were starting to recognize him for his character and not just his food.
