Being the child of a country star who divorced from her father when she was very young, Ashley always felt that she wasn’t good enough, and she attempted to display this in compulsive acts of cleaning and perfectionism. She finally majored in French and minored in anthropology at the University of Kentucky. Ashley also graduated from the UK Honors Program, but she hasn’t been able to graduate with her class. When she finished the college, Ashley went to Hollywood, where she studied acting with the teacher Robert Carnegie at Playhouse West.
