In 2001, she returned to her first network, the WXIN as a co-anchor of the station’s morning newscast. Since 2010, she has been part of the E! News family. Today she is one the network’s correspondents while she also hosts a number of E! Live from the Red Carpet events such as the Academy Awards, Golden Globes and Emmys. In the mean-time she has also done a few in-between jobs. For instance, in pursuit of her acting career, Sadler played herself in the movie Knocked Up and starred in the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus music video, "You Better Pray".

Aside from returning to WXIN, 2001 was also the year that Catt married Kyle Boyd, a fashion executive and her college boyfriend; they went straight from college sweethearts to married couple. Together they have two son, Austin – born in 2001 – and Arion – born in 2005. The marriage ended 7 years later, in 2008 with simple procedures and not much was mentioned to the public. Then, Catt met Brett Jacobson in 2009 and started dating. After five months of dating, Brett proposed to his girlfriend and she accepted. However, after a week, she announced that she broke the engagement, but were still dating casually.

All seemed to be going smoothly until the E! News host Rhys David Thomas, the British film producer, a charity event in Los Angeles. They met in 2010 and tied the knot on October 23, 2011 in a private ceremony at the Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas. Sadler is not exactly the type to keep it private so naturally It struck as surprise at the time to learn that the marriage was so closed. When asked, Catt simply answered: “We married for love. We truly didn't have the desire for the massive production that goes along with a big wedding. It was about the simplicity of our love and devotion to one another”. She even mentioned that the family was complete and that her two boys “genuinely adore Rhys—and enjoy teasing him about his accent, naturally”.

Now while that seems like a happy ending story, it did actually end on March 2016, when Sadler filed for a divorce from Thomas. Speaking exclusively to People for that matter, the entertainment correspondent stated that she was excited for the next chapter in her life and the her children remain her top priority, hence putting the idea out there that that might have something to do with the reason of separation. I always land on my feet and am surrounded by a loving support system. Life continues to teach us about ourselves each day. I am thankful for life s lessons. My eyes are only looking forward,” she said.

Just like with Rhys, Saddler did not mention the reason for the separation from Kyle either. There are no evidences to prove infidelity, love affair, long term argument, emotional violence or physical violence between them. Thus, the real reason for the separation is not known. Kyle also never talked about why things did not work with his former wife. The divorce settlement and other details are also not known to public. She said that she met Brett on a flight and started dating him. She did not mention when she broke up with him after a week. They dated for a very few months and then got separated. The reason for separation is not known. She, then, eloped with Rhys and got married to him.

There were no reports that stated she was dating Rhys. Rhys was also silent about his relationship. They announced their relationship and the wedding, only after they got married. She had talked a lot about how she coped with her work and kids after the separation. This indicated that she got the custody of the kids. After divorcing Kyle, she said that she will find a family, one day and is not concerned about getting married. She said that she wanted to meet her ‘the one’. After she married Rhys, she said that her family was complete and her sons adore Rhys, a lot and tease him about his foreign accent.

She said that her relationship with Kyle after the separation is good. She said that the wedding with Rhys was a momentary decision. He was travelling to and from Britain and she knew that it was time to settle down. She was dating him for almost two years, when he came to America for two months. They decided to go to Vegas and have a private wedding. Before her wedding, she was rumored to have dated Jason Kennedy, for a few months. She has talked the most about her current husband other than any of her relationships. None of her former lovers made a point to comment on the separation news to state the real reason for the separation. She was never known to have cheated on any of her lover or spouses. There are no evidences in terms of pictures or creditable reports which state that she was cheating. She was also not cheated on by anyone in her whole dating life. Rhys never talked about her in the media. He keeps a low profile and does not comment on any of the rumors about their marital life.
