Marriage, Divorce, and Children

Chris Harrison was once a husband to his longtime girlfriend named Gwen Harrison. Their love was strong, and they gave birth to two beautiful children named Taylor and Joshua. Unfortunately, they announced that they were getting divorced after 18 years of being a married couple. They had a long bond, but it was time to start a new chapter in their lives.

After being separated from his wife, Chris Harrison introduced his new girlfriend to the public, and she was a woman named Selma Alameri. After separating from his wife, everyone expected to see him fall in love again, but they did not think he would be involved with someone from a show he hosted. This led to rumors that one of the main reasons for the divorce was his ex-wife suspected he was cheating on her with many women from the shows he hosted.

When he was introducing his new girlfriend, they were cute, and they were happy being together. However, he is still good friends with his wife, so the cheating rumors might not have much truth to them. Some speculate that the ex-lovers are just keeping a civil relationship in front of the public for the sake of their children.

Chris Harrison still manages to spend some time together with his ex-wife and children. Initially, he was on record saying that he cannot date someone from the shows he hosts. Recent stories suggest that he is defying his statements. People have speculated that the divorce was unavoidable because the couple was already living separately since his television shows were taking too much of his time. He was hardly ever able to go back home to spend time with his family. The family is in good shape because of all the money Chris brought to the home. They do not have to worry about the future of their children.

The first primary concern of people around Chris when it came to the divorce of Chris Harrison and his ex-wife was the financial implication of his divorce. Chris had built up a large sum of money during his career, so the people that could be affected were worried that they might see some of their money go away. Since the couple lived in California, which has a no-fault condition regarding marriage, his ex-wife was expected to get half of Chris's net worth. Chris stood to lose a large sum of money that his ex-wife did not work hard to earn. It was a lousy situation for Chris, but both parties agreed upon the divorce after discussion. Part of the agreement was that the two decided that they would remain friends and share the lives of their two children. What mattered most to them was the quality of life their children would have going forward. Chris and his ex-wife wanted to ensure that they didn't create any unnecessary emotional problems for their children.

Presently, Harrison is confirmed to be dating Lauren Zima, an Entertainment Tonight writer, and journalist.
