Diego Godín

Diego Godí’s full name is Diego Roberto Godin Leal. He was born in 16 February in the year 1986. He is an Uruguay professional footballer and plays for the Spanish Club under the name of Atletico Madrid while playing also for the Uruguay National team where he is a central defender. He spent most of the professional career in the city of Spain and he represents Atletico Madrid and Villarreal. He won six major titles with his team. As a Uruguay international from 2005, he had appeared in two different world cups with four Copa America Tournaments when he won 2011 edition for the latter competition.

From his biography, Diego Godín, was born in the city of Rosario and he started the football career together with C.A and transferred to be on the top division powerhouse club for Club Nacional de Football and he become the captain faster because of professionalism and maturity.

In the year 2007, Godin had to sign five year deal together with La Liga under Villarreal CF.
