Fred Hammond was actively a member of a gospel group and currently with the Verity Records as a solo artist. He is a multiple Dove, Grammy and Stellar award winner and a nominee as a producer, writer, and performer. He first gained global recognition as a bass guitar player for the Winans gospel group. He became a member of the original six members of the commissioned group in 1985 and has performed in 10 out of the 12 group’s albums. After ending his partnership with the commissioned ended, his musical group Radical For Christ sold several millions of albums and this brought him fame in the gospel community.

He went back to the Commissioned group in 2002 and produced the commissioned reunion live album. Those in the group included Keith Staten, Michael Williams, Mitchell Jones, Marcus Cole, Marvin Sapp, and Karl Reid. On the Thank you album, he performed with Sean Combs and has written several songs. He produced “Make Me like The Moon”, which was co-written by Kenny Lattimore and Chanté.

Hammond's achievements as CEO of Face To Face Productions placed him in a class without any other individual. Since their inception, Hammond has filled in as producer on more than 100 assortment projects, heaping on different distinctions and nominations including the Grammy, BET, N.A.A.C.P.
