Imran Tahir

Imran was born on 27 March 1979. He was born in Lahore in Pakistan. It is known that he grew up in Pakistan and that’s where he learned cricket. Imran also played for Pakistan’s Under 19 cricket team. There is not much of information available about his parents and his siblings. Neither there is information about his education but it is known that he later moved to South Africa and as of now he is a South African Citizen.

As mentioned earlier, Imran stated his career in Pakistan and after not getting much of success, he moved to England and later South Africa. Imran played a lot of matches in England and he also led his team to victory in Friends Provident Trophy in 2009. He was removed from the team in 2010. Imran was able to make a place for himself in South African Cricket team. He made his debut in international cricket in 2011 and he was selected in the World Cup team. The first match that he played was against West Indies in Delhi. The match worked out well for him as he got a chance to bowl 10 overs and he took 4 wickets by letting off only 41 runs.

Imran he also played against Australia in a test match where he got a chance to bowl 37 overs and the batsman was able to score 260 runs in those 27 years. It is known as the worst performance in the history of test match. Imran was again given a chance in 2013 where he scored 5 wickets and won against Pakistan. He got another chance in 20 – 20 world cup in 2013 and for the first time he was awarded with the man of match for his performance against Netherlands. In the complete series, he took the highest number of wickets.

In 2014, he was auctioned in IPL and he got a chance to play for Delhi Daredevils. Imran was also honoured by the award of T20 Cricketer of the year. Later in 2015, Imran led his team to victory in World Cup and helped South Africa in taking the first cup home. Imran was also given the award of Man of the match for his brilliant performance in the World Cup Final. Imran holds a couple of records as well. One such record of 5 wickets in test is against Pakistan and other one is against India. He also holds 2 records of 5 wickets in ODI, both the records are against West Indies.

It is known that after Imran failed to make it to the senior cricket team he decided to move to England and unfortunately he was not very successful in England either hence he decided to move to South Africa. It is known that after Imran moved to South Africa, he met an Indian lady living in South Africa and it was then he decided to marry her and call her his wife. The name of his wife is Sumayya Dildar. Imran’s annual salary is not known and his net worth is also a secret. He is surely a high net worth individual and that can be said because of his success.
