Kyle Abbott

Kyle John Abbott was born on June 18, 1987 in Empangeni, Natal Province, South Africa. His parents were Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins. He was raised in Natal Province. Kyle is of South African nationality. There is no information about his early childhood, family as well as education details. Kyle was interested in cricket since his school years when he was a teenager and tried himself in different occupations. He continued his career in the 2009 by join his domestic team “KwaZulu-Natal”. As a member of this team he was playing about year until he left in the 2016. During this time he also signed a deal with another team “Dolphins” and plays till now.

In addition to his career steps being the main player in “Dolphins” he also jointed to “Kings XI Punjab” team in the 2012. Two years later he jointed another team “Hampshire”. The next year he appeared as a member of two domestic teams “Chennai Super Kings” and “KwaZulu-Natal Inland”. Being in the squad of “KwaZulu-Natal Inland” he was involved in the 2015 Africa T20 Cup. In the 2016 he was signed a contract with Kings XI Punjab again. At the same year he played for “Worcestershire” team as well as “Warriors”. In the 2017 he becomes a player for “Hampshire” team again.

His big professional step was in the February of 2013, when he played against Pakistan team during the cap 316. It was the beginning of his international career. Kyle got seven wickets during the third Test game against Pakistan and becomes the man of the match. With a great result he also became the 9-th best players of all time for a debutant in test cricket matches. He made his debut on One Day International in the 2013. Kyle Abbott also participated in Twenty20 International.

Recently, on January 5 after the second Test game against Sri Lanka Kyle signed a contract with his longtime team Hampshire County Cricket Club. This decision means that he will not play for National team of South Africa. This big step ended his short international cricket career.

In the sport field Kyle best known with his nickname Yorkerman. He is a tall man with height about six feet and four inches.
