LaMarcus Aldridge

LaMarcus Nurae Aldridge was born on July 19, 1985 in Dallas, Texas. He studied at the Seagoville High School. He started playing basketball and even became a TABC Class 4A Player of the Year and second-team Parade All-American. After the high school he enrolled in the University of Texas. In the 2006 he left College and entered the 2006 NBA draft.

He was drafted second overall by the Chicago Bulls in the 2006 NBA draft. He got his rights traded to the Portland Trail Blazers for their pick. After he joined to the Portland Trail Blazers he missed the first seven games of the season because of a shoulder surgery.

In the 2007 season he had another problem an injury trouble because of a plantar fasciitis, due to that case he missed games in December. The next season he finished with an average 18.1 points as well as 7.5 rebounds.

In 2009-2010 he decided to sign a five-year contract more with $65 million extension with Portland team. In the 2015 he joined the San Antonio Spurs team and signed a four year contract and got 80 million dollars. He made his first appearances in the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 28. He scored 36 points in a 110-97 during the game against the New Orleans Pelicans team. In the last season he scored 26 points and helped his team win over the Golden State Warriors.

In addition to hi basketball career, he also appeared in several episodes of the comedy TV series “Portlandia”. There is no information about his stats at the fangraphs yet. He is a very popular person on ESPN channel and during the last years he received All-NBA Second Team and NBA All-Sta for a five times in a row from 2012 till 2015.

He is not a married man now. It seems like he focused only on his career. He has a son named Jaylen Lea along with his ex partner. He also has another son LaMarcus Jr. He had a surgery because of a heart condition and was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome.
