Luis Alberto Suárez Díaz was born in Salto, Uruguay on January 24th, 1987. He is the fourth kid in the family of seven boys. His older brother Paolo Suarez is also a professional soccer player. He moved with his family to Montevideo when he was seven, and his parents separated when he was nine.
