The next year, in 2004, Pierre was honored with another award. This time it was Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research. Later in 2010, it was informed that Pierre received Gairdner Foundation International Award. This award was given to him for his research on transcriptions in animal cells.

In the same research, he also highlighted his discovery of superfamily of nuclear receptors. Pierre had been really hard working and his life had been full of these big achievements. It is also known that Pierre received a Nobel Prize for all his contribution in the field of biology.
