Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was born on 18 June 1989 in France. His parents are of different origin. His mother is Spanish and his father is Gabonese. They met in France and have settled there. Aubameyang was born in France but has the nationality of Gabon as well as Spain. His father is a former Gabonese football player who is the main reason why he took football as his career. He started playing and following football when he was just 6 years old.
He started his career at Milan where he played for the youth team. In 2007 he scored 7 goals in 6 matches in the Champions Youth Cup and emerged as the top scorer of the cup for which he was answered the golden shoe. The very next year he was sent to Dijon where played for the first team on a constant basis and gained experiences. Looking at his performances many teams came calling and the next year he was loaned to Lille.
His loan spell continued and in 2010 he was loaned to Monaco. He performed well there and the next year was loaned to another club called Saint-Etienne where he scored 18 goals in total and was again in high demand by many clubs. In 2013 he was sold to German club Borussia Dortmund. In his first year at the club, he didn't play that well as he was expected but he started to show up in the next season. This season he scored an amazing tally of 25 goals which saw the club lift the DFB Pokal.
He was at this point in time among the best strikers in the world and many clubs were eager for his contract. He had however made up his mind about not leaving the club and so he signed a contract extern at the club. The next year he scored 25 goals in Bundesliga alone and became the joint top scorer along with Robert Lewandowski. He was awarded the Player of the year for that season. Last season he won the top scorer of the bundesliga with 31 goals
Currently he's playing very well for his team and has scored 8 goals in 7 matches which is the best in the top 5 leagues in Europe at the moment which is a huge feat as there are many great players currently playing the game such as Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez etc and to match them and even beat them is a very big feat indeed. There is always transfer speculation as he's playing too well.
