Sayaka Akimoto (origin ?? ??) was born on July 26, 1988 in Matsudo, Chiba. Her parents are native of different countries. Her father is Japanese, while her mother is Filipino. There is no information about her siblings and early years. She was very passionate and serious in her dreams. Sayaka got several auditions in high school.

In the April of the 2006 she became AKB 48 music group member. In the 2009 along with her band mates, she performed at the "Yomiuri Shimbun's 135th Anniversary Concert". In the 2012, Yuko Oshima replaced Sayaka as the captain of Team K via team shuffle. She also worked with group Diva under Avex. During 2010-2012 she was a regular host on the TV show “Waratte Iitomo”. She also involved in an AKB48's own anime TV show alongside other members.

She also has made her appearance on Fuji TV "Morita Kazuya Hour laughing!". In the 2011 she participated in the Tokyo Marathon as a runner. In the 2015, she was invited as a special guest to the "gathering of the president and the Philippine community in Japan" hosted by the Philippine President Benigno Aquino III. She was also served as a narrator in the collaboration drama project for PTV-4 and Nippon TV channels "Halo Halo House-Jose's Nippon Diary".

Since the 2013, she decided to focus on her acting career. In the 2014 film “Tokyo Slaves” she played the role of Arakawa Eia. During 2015 she appeared im three movies like “Galaxy Turnpike”, “Mango to Akai Kurumaisu” and “BIKUU”. She has made her appearances in such drama projects like “Senkan Yamato no Curry Rice”, “Kouncho Kohiya Koyomi”, “Discover Dead”, and “Orange: 1.17 Inochigake de Tatakatta Shoboshi no Tamashi no Monogatari”. Previously, she also took a part in the drama tv series “Taiga Drama Daisakusen”, “Hosou Hakubutsukan Kikiippatsu” and “Asadora Satsujin Jiken”, where she played the role of Niimi Miho. In the 2016 she played the role of Chiaki Yoshinogo in the drama “Sumika Sumire”.

Additionally, she released numerous popular singles like “Sakura no Hanabiratachi 2008”, “Seifuku ga Jama o Suru”, “Chance no Junban”, “Ponytail to Shushu” and “Everyday, Katyusha”. In the 2014 Sayaka composed and sang "Little Witch" which was the NHK Spring Campaign Theme Song. She also is known by her stage work. She played in “

Oishii Timing”, “Space Wars” and “Act Izumi Kyoka”. In the 2014 she played Elsa Veesenmayer in the “Kokumin no Eiga”. Recently, she served as a co-host for Team Japan in the reality competition show “Ultimate Beastmaster” which was released on Netflix.

She also released her book of photographs, which was titled “Ari no Mama”. She is a very private person and does not expose her relationship, regarding her boyfriend. She also seems to be focusing more on her career as an actress and has not been married yet. Her skills have given her a successful career, well paid salary and net worth.
