Steven John Wilkos is an American television personality, a former law enforcement officer with the Chicago Police Department, and a United States Marine Corps veteran. Since 2007, he has hosted The Steve Wilkos Show, and from 1994 to 2007, he was the director of security for Jerry Springer. Before being handed his talk show, he had already filled in for Springer as host on multiple occasions.
Steven John Wilkos was born on March 9, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois. His parents are Jeanette and Stanley Wilkos. Steve's mother, Jeanette, was passionate about making other women look more beautiful by engaging them in beauty classes and practical sessions.
