Temba Bavuma

Temba Bavuma was born in Cape Town in the state of Cape Province in the year 1990. He is a South African cricketer and played in domestic levels of South Africa for Guaten on the Test Level. He is a first black cricketer who was able to reach a century in Test playing for South Africa. He was educated in the South African College Junior School built in Newlands and attended St David’s Marist Inanda High School found in Sandton.

Temba Bavuma made the first debut in the year 2008 while in Gauteng when they played with Eastern Province. They were batting middle order while he made the four runs with the first innings for which he was able to bat with while he partnered with Teammate Dane villas for the best score in first class. He made the first franchise debut with Lions in 2010/2011. For super series, he was able to make 242 runs in four matches. He made 60.50 average within the first season.

During the first season, he made 124 runs against Knights and he was named the Man of the Match. During the second supersports season in the year 2011/2012, he was able to make 637 runs and with 53.08 as an average. This made him to be counted at the 11th position of the top scorers. During the 2012/13, he was able to reach at 5th highest scorer in the series known as Sunfoil series now, however he had a poor average at 31.58. In the year 2013/14, he was able to score heavily when he made 714 runs with an average of 39.66. This made him to be put on the 6th position of top scorers.

His performance earned him a place in the South Africa A cricket Team. He was first in 2012 game played in Durban against Sri Lanka. He played also in Ireland A’s game. He also played against Australian and Indian A sides. He played against Australia once and he played against India two times. The best performance he was at 65 at a second match of the innings defeat with Indians. He got included in Gauten Squad in 2015 Africa T20 Cup.

According to his biography, Temba Bavuma made the first Test Match playing for South Africa when they played against West Indies in 2014. In 2016, he became first black cricketers while playing the Test Century. He played unbeaten 102 at the Cape Town in its 2nd Test while playing with England. He made the first One Day International when they played with Ireland in 2016 and he scored the first century into ODI. Temba Bavuma first Test Wicket was against Australia. His parents are Phumza and Vuyo Bavuma. He has a sister called Phila and a girlfriend called Phila Lobi. He had been dating her for 4 years. His net worth is not recorded yet.
