Zack Greinke

Donald Zackary “Zack” Greinke was born on October 21, 1983 in Orlando, Florida. His parents are Donald and Marsha Greinke. He also has a younger brother, Luke, who was a pitcher too. Luke played college baseball at Auburn University and for the New York Yankees team, but later was out of baseball because of injuries. He studied at the Apopka High School. He has been interested in sport since his early years and even played at the Little League. In the 1999, being a teen helped lead to his team to the Senior League World Series.

During his school career, Zack hit over 400 with 31 home runs. Before becoming a starting pitcher as a senior, he was a relief pitcher in both as a sophomore and junior. He made his debut in the 2016 at the Chase Field by playing against the Colorado Rockies team.
