Ainsley Earhardt

Ainsley Hayden Earhardt was born on the 20th of September, 1977. She was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, United State. Her family relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina and lived in the Foxcroft area of the state. Currently, she works with Fox News. She is an anchor as well as a correspondent for this news channel. She got married to Kelvin Mckinney in 2005 and it was only a few years that the marriage lasted. They got separated according to what was held were issues that had to do with their personal lives. Well celebrity and divorce is not a new thing. Well, she didn’t hold on to the separation as she went on to find love and finally got married.

Education

Her educational pursuit started when she enrolled at the Sharon Elementary School. This Elementary school was also attended by Anna Kooiman and Heather Childers. These two were also on-air correspondents for the Fox News. They didn’t attend the school at the same time and also weren’t the same classmates. While in Sharon Elementary School, she and her family relocated again to Columbia, South Carolina. She graduated in 1995 from the Spring Valley High School. Education was a priority for her and this made her to further more after high school. While on a leadership and academic scholarship program, she attended the Florida State University and majored in biology.

She was part of the student government and served as a senator. She concluded on pursuing another Journalism, she then transferred from the Florida State University to the University of South Carolina. Finally after graduation from the University of South Carolina, she was awarded with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 1999. During her college years, she was part of the Alpha Delta Pi at the Florida State University and Beta Epsilon at the University of Carolina. She was awarded as a result of her leadership, character and personality with the Caroliniana Creed Award and was selected as part of the University of Carolina’s Homecoming Court.

Career

She started as a reporter for WLTX-News 19. This station was in Columbia South Carolina and she got this job as a result of her topping her class in her program. This was before she finished her program at the Columbia, South Carolina. Between 2000 and 2004 her program was rated number one which was anchored during the morning and afternoon with her. The South Carolina Middle School pupils gave almost half of a million after the September 11 attacks to firefighters and she went with them to New York to cover the event. That money was used to replace the fire truck that was destroyed at the World Trade Center.

Another report she covered was the earthquake in China, the deep water horizon oil leak and other big stories. She relocated to San Antonio in 2005. She was the newscaster for KENS-TV and her two programs were also rated as the number one show. She did the Eyewitness News this morning and the one at Noon. She did the half marathon in Austin, Texas. She is a sporty person and this made her to do skydiving with the Golden Knights, U.S. Army and Air Force Academy. As if that wasn’t enough, she flew with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in an F-16

Achievements

During her time reporting for a local news, she was selected by the viewers of the Metropolitan Magazine as the Personality of the year. After this, she was the receiver of another award from the University of South Carolina for the Young Alumni Award in 20007. Another award came her way in 2007. This award was from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She was awarded as the Outstanding Young Alumna.
