Anthony Bourdains 

Anthony Bourdains was born in 1956 and he is American chef, television personality and author. He graduated from 1978 in Culinary Institute of America and is a veteran in many professional kitchens and these include many years like executive chef at Brasseries Les Halles. Even if Bourdain has not been a chef there for a long period, he maintained the relationship to the Les Halles of New York. He came to be well known for his book in 2000 Book called Kitchen Confidential: Adventures In the Culinary Underbelly. The first food for the world-travel television show is A Cook’s Tour and it ran for 35 episodes at Food Network since 2002 up to 2003. In the year 2005, he started to host cultural and culinary Adventure programs at Travel Channels at Anthony Bourdain: No reservation and the Layover. He switched to the CNN in order to host Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.

From his biography, Anthony Bourdains was born in New York City and he grew up in Leonia, in the city of New Jersey. Her parents are Glady Bourdain who was a staff editor of The New York times and Pierre Bourdain who was classical music industry executive of Columbia Records. Bourdian said that she got raised without any religion but the ancestors were born catholic at the side of his father and Jewish on the side of her mother. The paternal grandparents are French and they emigrated from the Arcachon of New York after World War 1. The father grew up speaking French and he spent summers in France.

Bourdain said that the love to the food had been kindled when he was young and he was on the family vacation in the city of France. He tried the first oyster at the boat of an oyster fisherman. He graduated from Dwight-Englewood School in the year 1973. He went to Vassar College and dropped out after only two years and this is the same time that he was working at Provincetown in Massachusetts seafood restaurant. This is why he decided to pursue cooking career and he decided to attend Culinary Institute of America in the year 1978.

Anthony Bourdains got married to his first wife, Nancy Putkoski in the year 1985, she was his high school girlfriend. They were together for over two decade and they divorced in 2005. In 2007, she got married to Ottavia Busia and they have a daughter called Ariane. Busia was in many episodes for No Reservation including the one that took place at Sardinia since it was her birthplace. They divorced in 2016, saying that one of the reason is that he has to be away of his family for a long period. His books including The Nasty Bits, Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to The World of Food and The People Who cook among others can be bought on Amazon and his net worth is 6 million dollars.
