Family Background and Early Life
Domhnall is one of four brothers in the Gleeson family. His brother Brian Gleeson also pursued a career in acting and has appeared in films and television series, although not attaining the same level of international recognition as Domhnall. Education and Early Career
Domhnall attended Malahide Community School, where he first developed an interest in the arts. He later earned a degree in Media Arts from the Dublin Institute of Technology. From 2006 to 2010, Gleeson built his résumé with roles in various film and television projects, such as A Dog Year (2009), Perrier's Bounty (2009), Corduroy (2009), Sensation (2010), Never Let Me Go (2010), and True Grit (2010). However, it was his role as Bill Weasley in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010) that catapulted him into global recognition.
