Gigi Hadid is an American Fashion model who was born on April 23, 1995, in Los Angeles, California. She has two siblings, a brother named Anwar, and a sister named Bella, both of whom are also models. She is of Palestinian descent on her father's side and her mother is Dutch. Her father claims they are descended from Daher Al Omer, Prince of Nazareth and Sheik of Galilee. Hadid graduated from Malibu High School and moved to New York City shortly after.
She then began studying criminal psychology at The New School in 2013 but dropped out of college to pursue her modeling career. Hadid began modeling at the age of two when she was discovered by Paul Marciano who was scouting for talent for Guess clothing. Hadid was named the face of a Guess campaign in 2012 and has shot three more campaigns since for the clothing company. In 2014, Hadid revealed she was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease. She was assaulted by Vitalii Sediuk in 2016 and she was commended for how she defended herself. In 2017, Hadid tried to travel to China for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show but her visa was denied for being "racist" towards Buddha.
