Hollywood is a place where hot stories and news keep coming out with an impressive frequency. From a celebrity’s dog being sick to a famous person’s death, everything that happens surfaces to the public sooner or later.

This time the news is about Caitlyn Jenner. Caitlyn was practically born recently and for that to be possible Bruce Jenner had to die. In case you’re not following, Bruce Jenner, a former Olympic athlete that has been awarded with the golden medal in the Olympics of 1976, decided to go into surgery in order to become a woman. All that at the age of 65. And as if that is not surprising news on its own, Caitlyn managed to break a record on Twitter in only 4 hours after she made an account.
So, now that you know the story, let’s go on to the most recent news about Caitlyn that still seems to attract the spotlights of showbiz.
Caitlyn Jenner is following the steps of Lady Gaga and Rihanna. We are not referring to the music or the kind of timeliness but she will soon be the face of the Viva Glam campaign that is conducted by the MAC cosmetic company. In the past many celebrities have been the face of this campaign with some of them being Lady Gaga, Fergie, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Christina Aguilera.
After her first official appearance as a woman in the cover of the Vanity Fair magazine, the 65 year old Caitlyn will most likely star in cosmetic ads just like her 19 year old daughter – Kendall – did for the Estee Lauder campaign.
In the past the Viva Glam campaigns had been promoted by stars such as the drag queen RuPaul, Elton John and K.D Lang. 100% of the income from all the products are sent to the MAC AIDS Fund. That is one of the reasons that keep the Viva Glam campaign at the top of its kind. That and the people they choose to represent the campaign just like the ones mentioned above.
A spokesman of the MAC spoke to the Press and among other statements, he also mentioned that the company has signed no agreements with Caitlyn Jenner, but they totally support her.
And how could they not? With Caitlyn being at the centre of most of the stories that are being written from the world of showbiz these last few days, both parties (the company and Caitlyn) could be favoured by this agreement. The company has to gain a lot from this collaboration. And since the money go to the MAC AIDS Fund, there’s not really much to think about making Caitlyn Jenner the face of the campaign. Unless there is another reason that keeps the two of them from working together. But that means that we will hear more news concerning Caitlyn so either way stay tuned!
