Rescued cuties: baby hedgehog hiccups!
Published: Jan 9 2017
The video shows three baby hedgehogs picked up by a Wildlife Rescue Centre. The hedgehog babies had been abandoned by their mother immediately after birth, as she was disturbed while birthing them. The workers at the rescue centre keep them safe and warm inside a mitten in a little cage. The video shows the worker identifying the sex of the baby hedgehogs and marking them with nail polish to identify them in the future. You can see the babies adorably snuffling around with their eyes closed, make a cute little sneeze, roll up and play dead, scratch themselves and even hiccup uncontrollably! They're placed safely inside a towel and basket to keep them warm, after which they're fed with little syringes.
