The existence of black holes within our known universe is astounding. These massive, ever hungry, space anomalies are constantly making us question how the universe really work. This video shows how the size of black holes can be perceived in a way that the average person can understand. It outlines how these objects of massive gravitational force have a integral part in the formation of galaxies. It goes on to explain how almost every known or observable universe has one at it's very center. We still do not fully comprehend the rolls these objects play in the cosmos, but we do know they have a part to play. Only with more study and more observation will we ever understand these structures fully. I always have wondered about what happens at the event horizon of a black hole. Hopefully one day someone will have a more complete answer.
