Breaking Benjamin, an American rock band formed in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, is led by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Benjamin Burnley. Before the band’s hiatus, they released four successful studio albums: Saturate (2002), We Are Not Alone (2004), Phobia (2006), and Dear Agony (2009). Collectively, these albums have sold over five million copies in the United States.
The band went on an extended break in 2010 due to Burnley’s recurring health issues, including chronic fatigue syndrome and neurological complications from years of alcohol abuse. During this period, internal disputes led to the dismissal of band members Aaron Fink and Mark Klepaski. Legal matters concerning their departure were settled by 2013, after which Burnley retained the legal rights to the band’s name and chose to continue with an entirely new lineup.
Breaking Benjamin's reformation was officially revealed in 2015, with Benjamin Burnley continuing as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. The restructured band included Keith Wallen and Jasen Rauch on guitars, Shaun Foist on drums, and Aaron Bruch playing bass and contributing backing vocals. Together, the new lineup contributed to the revival of the band's sound and success, starting with the album Dark Before Dawn.
Though Bruch’s personal net worth has not been formally disclosed, his contributions to Breaking Benjamin have played a role in the band’s continued commercial and critical success.
