Studies

She grew up in New York City, New York. There she went to the Saint Ann's School. During her time attending high school, she started to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, in its New York campus. She also attended the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In her time at those institutions, she participated in plays, wrote scripts and thanks to her studies there even got her first acting role in 2002.

Television Career

Her first job in television was in the supernatural thriller series Witchblade from the Turner Network Television. Her role there was a bit part in the episode Parabolic of the second season. The following year, in 2003, she participated in two National Broadcasting Company’s procedural television shows. Those series were Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and Law and Order. In both cases she played a part in one episode.

She also appeared in two episodes of the 2005’s television series Joan of Arcadia. Also starting that same year and continuing for another season, she worked in the science fiction series Invasion. The other tv shows that she has participated in are: One for Live, where she played a bit part and the six times Primetime Emmy winner Home Box Office produced series Entourage. The first series aired in 2007 and the latter two years later.

Film Career

Her introduction to the world of cinema was with a television movie in 2004. She had her first major role playing the part of Hannah Vogul in She's Too Young. The movie was distributed by Lifetime. There she worked under the direction of Tom McLoughlin and played her role alongside Marcia Gay Harden. Of course, this being her first time as a main actress, it means that she had worked on other productions beforehand. Such productions included the indie movie Bringing Rain. That was a coming of age film directed by Noah Buschel.

The other movie she participated in was Rhinoceros Eyes yet another indie movie, in this case it was directed by Aaron Woodley. This two independent movies were released in 2003, a year before her debut. After that she had participated in various other movies having both support and main roles. Adding another production she took part in, it is possible to count Jesse Stone: Stone Cold. The movie was television film that formed part of the Jesse Stone film series; it was directed by Robert Harmon. This was yet one more small role appearance, now in 2005. Two years down the line she played the role of Heather in Sex and Breakfast, a Miles Brandman directed film. After that she was part of the supporting cast of Andy Tennant’s film Fool's Gold. Perhaps, her most remembered role, is that of Joan in When in Rome.
