Kreischer attended a private Jesuit high school in Tampa before enrolling at Florida State University (FSU), where he majored in English and joined the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
During Kreischer’s time at FSU, the university earned the top spot on The Princeton Review’s list of the nation’s best "party schools" in 1997. He was in his sixth year at the university when this distinction brought additional attention to student life there.
