His early life

Born in Lubbock, Texas he later moved to Plano when he was in his sophomore year at high school. During his stay in Plano, he played for the Plano High School football team, after which he sustained a major knee injury; the same year the Wildcats won the AAA state championship in 1971. In the year 1980, he graduated from Texas Tech; he has a bachelor’s degree in directing and acting. Leland also is an avid golfer and enjoys playing the sport every now and then.

His career

After completing his graduation, Leland preferred moving base to Dallas and so he did. There he was working in a local theater and later found an agent as well. He bagged a part in one of the episodes The heat of the Night, in Dallas which was one of the most popular series of its time. Later he went on to appear in 7 episodes of the television series Walker, Texas Ranger which won him a lot of recognition and fame. He also worked as an executive in the movie Hancock. Friday Night Lights, happen to be one of his most loved and remembered show, which helped him achieve widespread popularity. He was also seen in other T.V shows such as Trauma, CSI: Miami, Parks and Recreation, Veep, and the Leftovers.

Brad Leland married his wife Ramsey William in the year 1978. The couple has two children, Thea Leland and Leah Leland. There were rumors of the couple calling it quits, media reports suggested that the two had already filed for a divorce but not much has been revealed about this issue by the couple. He also owns Turnkey Productions II which is a television production company. His net worth is stipulate to be around a million dollars.
