Born on June 6, 1990, Brooke Pancake is an American professional golfer who joined the LPGA Tour in 2012. She played collegiate golf for the University of Alabama, where she was a standout member of the Alabama Crimson Tide golf team. Pancake was named an All-American three times and turned professional following her senior year, during which she helped lead her team to its first national championship.
Brooke Pancake had a distinguished amateur career while attending the University of Alabama. In her sophomore year, she contributed to Alabama winning its first Southeastern Conference (SEC) Women's Golf Championship—a historic victory, as the university had never achieved this title since the event's inception in 1974.
As a senior, Pancake reached the semifinals of the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship and played a key role in guiding Alabama to their first-ever NCAA National Championship in women’s golf, where she finished as the runner-up individually. Her achievements culminated in being awarded the prestigious Honda Sports Award for golf in the 2011–2012 academic year, recognizing her as the nation’s top female collegiate golfer.
She was also named to the All-American team for three consecutive years and excelled academically, receiving honors such as the Elite 89 Award in 2010 and the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America of the Year for Division I, along with the SEC Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year award in both 2011 and 2012.
