Marriage, Husband and Kids

Claudia’s marriage to successful businessman Nelson Peltz proved to be a great decision for her. Nelson Peltz is a founding partner of Trian Fund Management along with his co-founders Peter W. May and Edward P Garden. The fund led by Peltz is an alternative investment management fund based in New York. The company has brought many riches and success to Peltz and his family.

Claudia was not the first wife of Nelson Peltz. Nelson had two marriages before his union with Claudia. In total, they have eight children together with only three being the biological children of Claudia. Nelson’s other children were from his previous marriages.

Claudia’s husband, Nelson Peltz was born as the son of Claire and Maurice Herbert Peltz. Nelson got an opportunity for a fast track to success when he was enrolled at the Wharton School Undergraduate program at the University of Pennsylvania. Nelson let the opportunity pass him by which created a small early bump in the road for him. He was in the fraternity of the Phi Gamma Delta but he did not finish his degree at his college. He decided to drop out of the university in order to become a ski instructor in Oregon.

The sudden shift and perceived reduction in ambition would not last long. After the ski instructor job, Nelson would have to endure another common job until he could push himself to the top. He decided to work for his family and started to drive delivery trucks for their company called A Peltz & Sons. The family-owned operation was a wholesale food distribution company that was founded by Nelson’s grandfather, Adolph in the year 1896. The purpose of the company was to deliver fresh produce and frozen food to some restaurants around New York. With a family business in his back pocket, Nelson was able to experiment with how to develop his own path and career.
