A formally trained actress, Courtney Ford had nearly given up on her acting career and considered her attempt at landing a role in the television show Dexter to be her last audition. Courtney was cast to play Christine Hill on the show and has had steady work ever since. She has many television credits to her name including appearances in the shows Human Target, Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, The Big Bang Theory, and Castle.
Courtney has also acted in the films The Good Doctor, Missing William, and Meet My Valentine, among others. Courtney Ford is married to actor Brandon Routh, who played the title role in the super hero film Superman Returns. The couple dated for three years before being married in November of 2007 at El Capitan Ranch in Santa Barbara. The couple has a son who was born on August 10, 2012.
