Outside of acting, Dakota Blue Richards is involved in various social causes and creative pursuits. She participated in the Ocean 2012 campaign aimed at raising awareness against overfishing, posing for a photo shoot as part of the "Naked Celebrities" campaign to promote ocean conservation. She has also modeled for the fashion label Immortal Sorapol.
