David Cassidy

An unknown person called Wright claimed that her mother, Donna Wallace, had a one night affair with David. Wright also claims that she inherited David’s Lazy Eye Condition and that she bears a striking resemblance to David and his other daughter Katie. Wright has been asking for help from various social media sites to get David’s attention and perhaps recognize her as his daughter.

Aside from these various relationship struggles, David has also struggled with alcohol. He has allegedly been arrested multiple times for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and has received court summons alongside Shifrin’s court petitions. He admitted that he was addicted to alcohol and that keeping away from it has been too much for him to handle. He also added that it helps him numb his emotions because of the sad events that happened in his life.

In addition, Cassidy supposedly left the scene of a car accident he had been involved in, and ignored charges of having expired tags and driving on a suspended license.

In early 2017, it came to light that Cassidy had been diagnosed with dementia, the same condition his mother had suffered from at the end of her life. He then retired from performing, but continued to struggle. Later on November 18, Cassidy had been hospitalized from liver and kidney failure. He went into a coma, only to come out two days later, remaining in a critical condition. Eventually on November 21, Cassidy died of liver failure at age 67.
