Conviction and Sentencing
On February 10, 1992, Mike Tyson was convicted of one count of rape and two counts of criminal deviate conduct. On March 26, 1992, he was sentenced to six years in prison and was incarcerated at the Indiana Youth Center (now known as Plainfield Correctional Facility). Although he was 25 at the time, he served less than three years and was released on parole in March 1995.
