Dr. Jeff Young biography

Dr. Jeff Young is an American celebrity doctor and veterinarian who was born on April 14, 1956, in Indiana, United States. His full name is Jeffery Dale Young. Dr. Young grew up with his mother Esther Stevens and a stepfather who was in the military. He attended Rantoul High School in Rantoul, Illinois. Upon graduating from high school, Dr. Young went on to attend Colorado State University where he graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine. In 1990, he founded Planned Pethood Plus which aims to make spaying and neutering affordable and mobile. Dr. Young also went on to train veterinarians all across the world on how to improve surgical techniques.

Throughout the years, Dr. Young became known as a well-respected pet health practitioner. He attends to all times of animals all over the world ranging from domestic pets to livestock, exotic animals, and more. Dr. Young was featured in an Animal Planet show called "Dr. Jeff Young: Rocky Mountain Vet" after he was discovered through a YouTube video of him giving a lecture. Dr. Young was diagnosed with cancer after an 8 cm mass was discovered in his lung. He is married to his wife Dr. Petra and together they have three children and seven grandchildren.
