Eddie’s wife Tamara is four years older than him but age doesn’t matter to them anymore because they are both past middle age and are at the age of grandparents. They can be seen arguing on their TV shows but some of that might just be fabricated to add drama to the show. Tamara is already a grandmother as her eldest son and his fiancée welcomed their first child into the world. Tamara is very protective of her appearance as she is one of those women who have trouble letting go of their youth. She tries very hard to try to look long as she cannot accept being old. Even though she loves her grandchild, she hates that she is now a grandmother. Being called a grandma was a reality check for her because it was the final stamp on her youth and signaled the last phase of her life. Eddie helps her ease into her phase because he loves her a lot and provides her with more companionship and affection than her previous marriage.
Tamara’s ex-husband was trying to get custody of the three children they had together but Tamra had no intention of losing custody. In fact, she wanted to expand her family by having a new baby with her new husband Eddie Judge. The ex-husband was suing for 100 percent custody because he says that his ex-wife was not capable of taking care of the children but Tamra said that he only wants custody because he does not want the children on the reality TV shows.
Tamra asked her new husband to have a baby with her on the reality TV show. She told him that she wanted something that will be theirs and which he will not have to worry about her ex-husband taking it away.
After one year in marriage, there were rumors that Eddie Judge and Tamra were not doing well and that they may separate. The story started when Eddie did not show up for the reunion of the women on the show and his decision of skipping the show made people think that they were not on good terms.
Eddie’s Health Issues
Eddie had to have surgery to correct his irregular heart beat in 2018. Tamara described his condition to Bravo TV, “He's just taking it day by day. We don't know what his outcome's going to be. He has a doctor's appointment next week to find out what the next step is. But he's actually, right now, worse than when he started out. He just had a heart procedure three weeks ago where they went in and cauterized his heart in 71 places and we thought that that was going to be the end. But now he's in the healing process and that sent him into what's called a flutter and his heart is just uncontrollable. And he's on all kind of medication: heart medication and beta blockers. And it's just really been difficult on pretty much all of us — more so on him."
