Alanna Masterson is an American actress, born on June 27, 1988, in Long Island, New York. She is the daughter of Carol Masterson and Joe Reaiche, a former professional rugby league player of Lebanese and Australian descent. Reaiche played for teams such as the Sydney Roosters and the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Australia.
During her early years, Alanna moved with her family to Los Angeles, California. She grew up alongside her older brother Jordan Masterson and her two half-brothers, Danny and Christopher Masterson, who found success in television throughout the late 1990s. Inspired by spending time on set with her siblings, she developed a strong interest in acting at a young age. She made her television debut in the soap opera The Young and the Restless in 1994.
In 2006, Masterson made a guest appearance in the popular television series Malcolm in the Middle, adding to her growing list of on-screen credits. Her breakthrough came in 2013 when she was cast as Tara Chambler in AMC's critically acclaimed series The Walking Dead. Introduced during the show's fourth season, Masterson’s portrayal became a regular and integral part of the series, earning her a wider fan base and industry recognition.
In addition to her work on The Walking Dead, Masterson expanded her television resume in 2016 by joining the cast of ABC’s drama series Mistresses in a recurring role. These appearances helped cement her status as a versatile actress capable of performing across different genres.
Alanna Masterson is in a relationship with Brick Stowell. The couple welcomed their daughter, Marlowe, on November 4, 2015. She shares a close bond with her siblings, and like them, has been associated with the Church of Scientology. It has been publicly noted that she and her brothers are estranged from their father, Joe Reaiche.
