<p>Alanna Masterson is an American <a href="/biography/alanna-masterson">actress</a> who was born on June 27, 1988, in Long Island, New York, in the United States. She was born to Carol Masterson and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Reaiche">Joe Reaiche</a> who is was a professional rugby of Lebanese and Australian descent. Her father played with the Sydney Roosters and the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Masterson moved with her family to Los Angeles, California where she grew up with an older brother and two half-brothers who starred in television series throughout the late 1990s. She developed a passion for acting while spending time on set with her brothers. She made her acting debut in the 1994 soap opera "The Young and Restless".</p>

<p>In 2006, Masterson appeared in a guest role in the television series "Malcolm in the Middle". Her biggest role would come when she was cast as <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tara_Chambler">Tara Chambler</a> on the AMC zombie apocalypse series "The Walking Dead". She joined the cast in 2013 as a series regular in the show's fourth season. In 2016, Masterson landed a recurring role on the ABC television series "Mistresses". Masterson and her brothers practice Scientology and are estranged from their father. She is dating Brick Stowell and the couple had a daughter together named Marlowe on November 4, 2015.</p>
