Career
As former White House press secretary, Ari Fleischer was the essential representative for President Bush and conveyed the daily White House briefings from 2001 to 2003. He recently filled in as the senior communications consultant and representative for the Bush-Cheney presidential campaign. In his very important four years working for George W. Bush, he filled in as representative during the historic presidential election recount, September 11 terrorist attacks, two wars and the anthrax attack. His top rated book, Taking Heat, details his years in the White House and it rose to #7 on the New York Times bestselling books list.
Before joining Governor Bush's presidential campaign, Fleischer was the national representative and communications director for Elizabeth Dole's presidential campaign.
Personal Life
Fleischer is a proud native of Pound Ridge, New York, and a 1982 alumni of Vermont's Middlebury College. Presently, he is leader of his communications company called Ari Fleischer Communications, Inc. He currently resides in the city of Westchester County with his significant other, Becki, and their two children.
