Born in September 21, 1980 in Australia, Brianna Keilar was raised in Orange County situated in California. She studied at the Mission Viejo High School and graduated in the year 1998. She studied at the University of California in Berkeley. She was made a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society at the University. She has received bachelor degrees in Psychology as well as Mass Communications at the University in the year 2001.She married her boyfriend Dave French in the year 2009.
Profession
Keilar began her career in television journalism at KTVU Channel 2 as an intern and production assistant too. She later shifted to KIMA-TV, which is an affiliate of CBS situated in Washington in the year 2001. She was the general assignment reporter there. She also did a brief stint on radio as weekend news reader and in the morning shows. She shifted to New York in the year 2003, when she joined mtvU as producer, reporter and anchor for CBS News, which was telecast in the college network of MTV. She later worked as a freelance journalist at the Evening News Weekend Edition of CBS, before she started working for CNN.
She was initially the correspondent at CNN Newsource and reported for the numerous partner stations of CNN that number over 800. She was then made the senior White House correspondent and is based in Washington at present.

Keilar has covered the presidential primaries in the year 2004 and also the election in New York, Boston, and New Hampshire. While she was with MTV-U, she covered the 2005 NFL Draft. As the CNN white House correspondent, she has covered many stories in the Senate and the White House. She also covered the breaking news for CNN. She was the first on location reporter covering the Virginia Tech massacre in 2007 for CNN. She has interviewed many high profile personalities including Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
