She spends a decent part of her time building connections and keeping an eye on the material needs that exist inside her locale.As the Fiscal Agent of a non-profit office, she directs a spending limit of more than $300,000 yearly and sees best practices and morals by being responsible to benefactors and state government. She has been dynamic in the Republican party, serving 4 terms as a Central Committee member and filling in as a past Regional Chair and serving on both Screening and Policy Committees. She has worked on various political crusades for the different office-holders in Butler County.
In August 2019, Ohio Republican Party leader Jane Timken has asked Ohio state Rep. Candice Keller to leave her seat after the legislator's stunning remarks about the mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio. Keller posted on Facebook on remarks that accused "drag queen advocates," the Democratic Congress, former President Barack Obama, violent computer games and the disdain of veterans for the passings of nine individuals and the shooter in Dayton. Her remarks got under the skin of Republicans and Democrats alike. Timken's statement was, "Candice Keller’s Facebook post was shocking and utterly unjustifiable. Our nation is reeling from these senseless acts of violence and public servants should be working to bring our communities together, not promoting divisiveness.”
Candice is married to her better half of 38 years, Kent, who is a retired programming organization Project Manager. She is the mother of two married children and grandma of 6. She relies on her huge family to get her through the rough times she faces as a public figure.
