Christen Press is known as an American soccer striker who currently plays for Utah Royals FC in the National Women's Soccer League. She is also a talented member of the United States women's national soccer team.
Career
Christen Press had a great deal of early achievement in her soccer career. In club soccer, her groups won national titles, and in school, she turned into Stanford's unsurpassed driving scorer (71 goals) and the beneficiary of the 2010 Herman Trophy Award, the best prize in college soccer. She was increasingly focused around what she hadn't achieved in order to improve her skills. In high school, she had never been chosen for the Youth National Teams. Despite her individual accomplishment in school, Press lost in the NCAA College Cup title two years in succession.
Leaving school and entering the pros in 2011, she had one objective: play an all around style to draw in the consideration of the National Team. The eight goals she scored for MagicJack positioned third in the group, and she was named Rookie of the Year. It wasn't sufficient to get her a call up to the National Team. Frustrated, she came back to California to prepare for the following season, to attempt once again to win herself a welcome onto the National Team.
