Claudette Nevins was born on April 10th, in 1937. She was a film and television actress most of her career. Born in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, she ended up moving to Brooklyn New York along with her parents Joseph and Anna. Her mother was a garment worker and Joseph was a merchant. Her first work in the entertainment business was on stage on Broadway. Her costars included George C. Scott, and her stage work helped to open her career opportunities into film.
Her first actual movie was the 1961 feature called The Mask, which to this day is a cult classic. She was also in more recent movies such as Sleeping with the Enemy and Tuff Turf. She has done dozens of different regional theatre work, with work including The Iceman Cometh, The Cherry Orchard, King Arthur, and The Homecoming. She is currently married and has two daughters with the names of Sabrina and Jessica.
