He has tasted quite a bit of professional success so far but his personal life though has been a bit ironical from that perspective with a divorce and a second marriage already at the age of forty. He started dating actress Scarlett Stone in 1998 who is now famous for acting in the role of Anna Meyers in the 2008 hit movie Corporate Affairs. Scarlett Stone was reportedly the support system and emotional anchor of Corey Taylor given his public announcement that he was an alcoholic and even faced alcohol abuse that led him into severe depression. Their relation commenced as general friendship before they eventually fell in love, or so they felt. Their chemistry seemed to attract quite a bit of attention, mostly due to their largely secret relationship that came into public view much later, due to the lack of any sources.
He got married to Scarlett in 2004, after six years of the reported affair which also yielded a son named Griffin Parker Taylor who was born on 17th September 2002. Corey was stated as saying back then that the birth of a child was a much-needed relief in his grief-stricken life and that his marriage was the ray of hope that kept him alive. He even confessed to having tried to commit suicide from a building when Scarlett saved him. They had been dating for a long time but he felt the need and importance of his wife when he was pushed into depression by alcohol.

Their happy relationship seemed to be long-lasting with all the public proclamations but their relationship came to a dead end after they separated amicably in 2007, leaving lots of questions in the minds of the paparazzi that never saw it coming.
After a break of about 3 years from any kind of relationships after a failed marital life, he commenced dating and dated a much lesser known face, Stephanie Luby in 2009. This relationship was quite public when it started and the couple tied the knot, the same year as well. Their marital life has been moving on a steady note so far and with both the partners not quite interested in public gatherings, news of any conflicts are hard to surface.
Rocky relationships reflect a difficult past in an interview with Dr. Siri Sat Sam Singh, Corey admits to having been victim to many difficult struggles in his early childhood. Of these sensitive topics, Corey admits having been raped at the age of 10 by a 16 year old boy living in his neighborhood who threatened him not to tell a soul. He threatened to hurt both his mother as well as himself before eventually burning down their house.
Never having met his Father until the age of 30, he lived with his single Mother constantly moving throughout his childhood, to the point where he didn’t know his own origins anymore. On one of those occasions, he recalls being homeless on the Florida beach having lost all his toys and clothes without anywhere to go.
By the time he was 15, Corey was addicted to cocaine and after having overdosed twice, his Grandmother stepped in to take custody of him. A woman whom which he respected due to her strict demeanor and helped him work through many of his problems. His Grandmother was the reason for his pursuance of a music career, after having expressed interest in music brought him the gear to experiment, it was after that, that he realized that he had a talent for it.
He admits to overdose following a breakup in an attempt at suicide and had it not been for his ex’s mother coming by to check up on him afterward, that stomach full of his Grandmother’s pills would have been the end of him. The only thing that he can attest that has kept him going for so long is the strong desire to be a good Father, being a Father of three he now only wishes to give them the best, something as a child he could never have.
