The professional baseball relief pitcher, Craig Michael Kimbrel was born on 28th May, 1988 in Huntsville, Alabama. Craig Started playing baseball from his school at Huntsville, Alabama. He went to Lee High School. He played his college baseball with Wallace State Community College. Drafted by Alabama Braves in 2007, he was sent back to Wallace State to improve his draft position. Craig was a 96 overall pick in 3rd round of the draft. He was called for the first game of his MLB career in May of 2010 as roster. He played his second game of the season in June, 2010. Starting 2011 season as team’s primary closer proved to be a source of immense success for Craig. He also set the record for the most saves by a National League Rookie before the All Star games.

Craig made his 100th save of the career against San Francisco Giant and set the record of the second youngest player to reach this destiny. His contract with Braves was extended for 2017 on 16th Feb, 2014. It was a $42 million worth contract. In 2015, he was later traded with San Diego Padres. In the same season he reached 200 save of his career and became the fastest player to reach this goal. He was traded with Boston Red Sox, in September, 2015.

It was in May, 2012 when he proposed his girlfriend. He then married to her in December, 2012. His wife’s name is Ashley Holt. They spent their honeymoon in Dominican Republic.
