Datari Turner was born in 1979, April 2 in Oakland, California, USA. He was a single child in his family and his parents gave him all their attention. The boy was a good kid growing up and he attended Blue Chip Illustrated High School in which he was one of the better football players of the school. After being done with high school Datari was wondering what would be the next step in his career. At first, he contemplated joining university or college so he applied for quite a few schools. He was accepted in one of them but decided not to attend because his career as a model was taking too much time and he would simply not be able to do studies and be a model at the same time.

Career

Turner is mostly known for his work as a producer but he has done some other things as well. Like previously mention he was working as a model before beginning a career in the entertainment world. As an actor, he could be credited with almost 20 different projects including Trey Haley's 2008 drama American Dream and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ty_Hodges">Ty Hodges</a>' drama Video Girl which was first shown in theaters in 2011. Regarding his career as a writer, Datari has written scripts for TV series Love Thy Sisters as well as I Married a Baller. However, it is certain that when people see Turner's name they immediately think of someone who is a famous producer. The guy has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and has worked alongside <a href="/biography/jay-z">Jay-Z</a>, <a href="/biography/sean-combs">Sean Combs</a> and other titans of the entertainment industry. Since 2011, he was a producer or an executive producer of over 20 different projects and his work was featured in different film festivals grabbing public's attention and winning Turner awards and nominations.
