Edurne Ganem, professionally known as Edy Ganem, was born on September 20, 1989, in Modesto, California. Although born in the United States, she was raised in a culturally rich Mexican-American household. With both Lebanese and Mexican heritage, Edy spent much of her early life traveling throughout the United States and Mexico. Before eventually settling in San Diego, she also spent time in Barcelona, Spain. Her diverse upbringing played a role in shaping her artistic sensibility and global perspective.
