Fiona Gubelmann is known as an American actress. She is most famous for her roles in CSI: NY, My Name Is Earl, and The Good Doctor.
Fiona Victoria Gubelmann was born on March 30, 1980 in Santa Monica, California. Growing up, she had a strong affection for acting and dancing. Her mom got her a dance mentor to coach her. Fiona made her beginner acting presentation at four years old when she was part of the cast of The Cabbage Patch Kids, an artful dance production. She sharpened her performing ability by including herself at drama camps and neighborhood theater productions, both in her neighborhood and for her school's drama department.
She studied at Torrey Pines High School in Del Mar, California. After her studies at UCLA came to an end, she proceeded to study acting at Beverly Hills Playhouse, where she collaborated with the Katselas Theater Company.
Fiona Gubelmann made her debut acting presentation on an episode of The Mullets in a role that was listed as The Valley Girl. The next year, she was Bobbie Jean Banks in an episode of Cold Case. Her first role on the big screen came when she played Amber in the comedy, Employee of the Month in 2004. She played Sandy in two episodes of Parenthood. She played Erika in an episode of Criminal Minds. She has also appeared on Modern Family, Animal Practice, and even provided a voice for the Family Guy cartoon.
In 2017, Fiona had a five-episode stretch as the character Lori in Netflix's comedy series One Day at a Time. The next year, she landed a big role on network TV when she was cast to play Dr. Morgan Reznick in the first season of ABC's popular medical drama, The Good Doctor. When it came time to produce the second season, Fiona was promoted to the main cast. She also worked together with Australian actor Ben Lawson on the set of the lighthearted comedy film The Way We Weren't.
In September 2019, the third season of the Good Doctor made its debut. Fiona was brought back for a third season because of her popular character.
Fiona Gubelmann is married to an American actor named Alex Weed. They met each other when they were students at the University of California, Los Angeles. They both have been on CSI: NY, Criminal Minds, and Horror High. They appeared together on a single episode of the reality TV series House Hunters Revolution in 2014.
