Gemma Collins is an English reality television best known for appearing on TOWIE (The Only Way is Essex).  TOWIE is a highly successful British reality television series that is filmed in Brentwood and that features real people saying unscripted lines; the first series of the show began in October of 2010. Gemma Collins was born on February 2, 1981, in Romford, England. Gemma was a used <a href="/biography/gemma-collins">car saleswoman</a> before starring in Essex and is known on the show for her quick tempered nature; she is often at the center of the show’s biggest fights.  Collins is also an <a href="/biography/gemma-collins">author</a> and released her bestselling autobiography, Basically: My Real Life as an <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essex_girl">Essex Girl</a> in June of 2013. Her second book, The GC: How to Be a Diva, was published in 2018.

Gemma is scheduled to be on the eleventh series of Dancing on Ice, partnered with <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Evers">Matt Evers</a>. Gemma Collins has been in a relationship with British <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Argent">television personality</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Argent">James Argent</a>, since 2017. The couple has recently bought a home together in Woodford Green in Essex right near <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Argent">Argent</a>’s parent’s home. Gemma has been reported as being desperate to have a child with <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Argent">Argent</a> and has tweeted that she is praying for that blessing to occur in 2019.
