Gianna Toboni is an American television personality, producer, and correspondent who was born on July 14, 1988. Little is available about Toboni's early years but it is known she attended New York University. Following her graduation, she began pursuing a career in journalism and landed a role as a digital correspondent, field, producer, and booker for ABC News. She eventually left ABC to follow her dream of creating a long-form documentary in Haiti which she appeared in front of the camera to interview various people. The documentary primarily focused on the sexual abuse of children and women by the United Nations personnel.
These people are also known as "Peacekeepers Turned Perpetrators" to their victims. Toboni's work got her a job as a full-time employee at Vice where she made good friends with Isobel Yeung. Toboni has traveled to over 20 countries and interviewed dangerous people including Egyptian Tomb Raiders, ISIS fighters, and front-line combatants in Iraq. Her work has earned her several awards throughout her career including an Emmy-award nomination. Most notably, Toboni won the GLAAD Award for Outstanding TV Journalism in 2013. Toboni married to Kyle Buckley on September 2, 2017, in Sonoma, California. The pair has been married ever since and pursuing their respective careers.
