Grace’s first attempt in the world of fame and glamour was through modeling. However, right after she graduated college, she decided to give acting a try for about a year. Her acting talent and her looks were more than enough. She almost immediately landed a star role in on a Canadian TV program. She got a meaty role in the teenage soap opera drama, Edgemont at the age of 25. The soap series dealt with teenage problems such as love, jealousy, and homosexuality.
Her role on Battlestar Galactica was highly appreciated by fans and critics of the beloved show. Grace is a rare female actor who made a successful career working in the sci-fi genre. Only popular Hollywood stars experiment with this genre if they like the script. Grace was new to the field of television and was excited to jump into the role of Shannon in Battlestar Galactica. She succeeded in experimenting with this role even without any major prior experience in acting.
The space television series went on to become a great hit. It had a very gripping script and the audience applauded Grace’s performance all the way. She also experimented with the role and always put up her best performance. It is usually very challenging to do a main lead female character in a sci-fi genre movie but Grace won the hearts of fans for her portrayal.
Park also starred as Officer Kono Kalakaua in the CBS television series Hawaii Five-0 which made its debut on September 20, 2010. Park once explained in an interview that when she was offered Hawaii Five-0, she had no idea about the project and even her research could not help her much. All she knew was what people told her. She was surprised to learn that Hawaii Five-0 meant “To Hawaii”, “to the people of Hawaii”. The show turned out to be a life changing event for her because it was the first time she was on a lead role on an American national TV channel.
Some other roles of hers that are worth mentioning include her role in the 2007 movie West 32nd, co-starring roles in A&E’s The Cleaner” and CBC’s The Border. She was also in the Fox series Human Target as Eva Kahn, the main character of the series.

She said, “It is both an honor and surprise to be inducted in to the 2014 Asian Hall of Fame. Since I work and live under the pretense that no one sees it, and I remain totally anonymous, I suppose I must reconsider that if I allow myself to accept this honor. Until recently I was not aware of the Asian Hall of Fame, so not only will I explore what it means, but I will surely be telling my family that I finally made it, and never have to get a real job after all”.
As a child, she grew up in Kerrisdale, a neighborhood in the city of Vancouver and graduated from Magee Secondary School in 1992. After primary school, she attended classes at the University of British Columbia and got her degree in Psychology.

Grace must be an interesting romantic partner because of her career. She is a Korean but she says she knows a little bit of French too which makes perfect sense considering that she grew up in Canada. Her husband finds Grace to be very intriguing. She has been heard mentioning that Canadians are “polite but closed off and more reserved” than the average person in the U.S. She likes to keep a low profile and prefers to keep the private details about her life under wraps.
She seems to be a very nurturing mother and an adorable wife. Though the duo are from separate professions, there does not seem to be any friction among the two. Her net worth is $8 million dollars. She has gained a great deal of income from her sci-fi roles alone. She makes more money than her husband but that too does not appear to be a problem for the happy couple who seem determined to have a great marriage and a beautiful family, no matter what, for better or for worse.
